Equi'Sol and its European partners invite you to take part in the first European Fair Trade Fair on 1, 2 and 3 February 2008 in Lyon (France).

You are very much invited to participate! There will be an exhibition area with 200 stands from all over Europe, to present products and/or activities on Fair Trade. There will also be time for debates, round tables and conferences. 10,000 visitors are expected. For 1.5 days the fair is opened to professionals; professional targets are various Fair Trade actors, public authorities, caterers, enterprises, NGOs. On the week end the fair will then be opened to the broad public. Not less than 10,000 visitors are expected!

TransFair U.S.A. launches a month-long celebration bringing together the growing network of producers, retailers, and consumers of Fair Trade Certified products. More information here.


The Fairtrade Foundation

This nice british NGO is organizing several campaigns for this autumn across the United Kingdom:

  • September 29th in London
  • October 6th in Birmingham
  • October 13th in Newcastle

Sessions will consist on several seminars with contents ranging from products to producers, dealing with the media and authorities, etc. You can see more on this and register on-line on their own website.
